Welcome to TEAM IOWA Basketball!

TEAM IOWA is in its second year of operation.  Being a 15U team, we were 26-11 against mostly older 16U/17U teams.  We attribute this success to a number of principles:

1. We want to have FUN.
2. We want our players skill development to improve for there high school teams.
3. We want players and parents to be part of a TEAM.  This is why we selected ‘TEAM IOWA’ as our name.
4. Once you are selected to be part of the TEAM IOWA program, you are not required to attend yearly tryouts or are forced out of the program by the lack of playing time.  Just as you would expect from a college program, you are considered part of our family.
5. No elite basketball program can promise a scholarship.  Similar to other elite basketball programs, we do have several contacts with several high profile college programs.  This allows us to better help our players and parents in the recruiting process.
6. We are very flexible with our player’s schedule.  They are allowed to participate in school activities.  We try our best to schedule as many NCAA tournaments that fit the availability of the players throughout the summer in our January team meeting.
7. Each player will receive as much equal playing time as possible pending game situations.  This maximizes the player’s exposure to college coaches.
8. All Head Coaches have several years experience at either the High School or College level.  Our coaches provide the professionalism and respect High School players need to develop for the next level.
9. We maintain a game video collection on our web site for college coaches to review.
